Ariadne Mori Dress

Carmenred’s Ariadne Mori Dress set is part of her Winter 2022 series. This series was inspired by the Mori girl style while still incorporating lolita elements. Used Japanese patterned cotton fabric for the main dress, with pieces of embroidered patterns sewn on as adornments on every piece of this dress set. This set is 100% handmade, and all elements are hand-sewn. A lot of blood, sweat and hard work was put into the concept and design of these dress sets.

Disclaimer: Due to the thin fabric used, and the embroidery are easily “caught” on items, the back of the dress cannot use a velcro or metallic clasp to close the dress up. Instead a threaded loop and bead button system is used, so closing the dress up on a doll will be a little more difficult than using velcro or clasps. There may also be some miniscule signs of yellowing for the “vintage” look on the fabric. This is just the nature of the fabric itself when she bought it – not a decrease in the quality of the handiwork or was “cheaply and roughly” made. This is not an indication that any of her future creations will be like this.

**Since the pandemic, her creations have greatly reduced, and at the same time, her price point has also greatly increased.

These are produced in limited quantities and will not be repeated or reproduced ever again in the future.
